Upper Galilee Regional Council, Migal Institute, and other partners are establishing a sustainable agricultural educational farm.

The farm will be adjacent to the Society for Agriculture research farm.

The educational farm will span 12 dunams (approximately 3 acres) of model plots, greenhouses, and classroom structures.

Vision: Our goal is to create a space that serves as a growth incubator for creative ideas and solutions to global challenges, contributing value to future generations.

We run educational programs. The farm is a living laboratory and an inspiring meeting place for students, school pupils, farmers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and members of the local communities to experience creative development of solutions to global challenges. We believe in the impact of the environment on the learning process and aim to provide a hands-on and engaging experience by designing a space that fosters creativity.

We believe that spending time in an open space within a natural and aesthetic environment serves as a driving force for significant internal processes. The farm offers a wealth of tranquil and cultivated corners, perfect for gathering and contemplation. Among the flower and vegetable beds, fruit trees, and recreational pools, we host workshops and training sessions for teams, managerial development,

Driving Change

A transformative change that alters reality. According to the EPIC Network model (Educational Partnerships for Innovation in Communities Network), the farm will serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration among various stakeholders in the region. This initiative will focus on research and scientific examination of new working methods, alongside educational activities and knowledge dissemination to the community.

A few words about the vision:

There is an inherent innocence in the research suggesting that industrial agriculture is an expression of a non-sustainable socio-economic and political system. As it currently operates, agriculture is one of the significant factors contributing to the climate crisis.

The food system must undergo a profound transformation, and to drive this change, a strong will is necessary. We believe that if we approach this transformation correctly, the agricultural sphere can become a focal point for essential solutions. Food is the most powerful driving force for improving human health and the health of our planet.
